International standards development process shows that work organization effective type is standards development by technical committees. Technical committees consist of representatives from all interested parties (organizations): developers, producers, sellers, consumers, etc. in the voluntary basis.
Standardization technical committees carry out these activities:
The technical committees activities are carried out according to PR 1.1-2005 “Procedures for the work of standardization technical committees”.- development of standardization activities program according to activity spheres;
- development of standards of RA, review, amendments and corrections to standards, withdrawal and new standards proposals, as well as their preparation for adoption;
- proposal of implementation of international, regional (interstate), as well as national standards of other countries in the Republic of Armenia;
- cooperation with all interested parties;
- substantiation of RA position on international, regional and interstate standards drafts, as well as proposals of their implementation in RA.
