According to the “Law on Conformity Assessment” of RA,  services certification is carried out on obligatory (catering organizations) or voluntary basis.

If the services provided by your organization are not subject for obligatory certification, the voluntary certification would be very actual for present-day market relationships.

Conformity certificate is an indispensable document for the quality assurance of the service supplied by your organization.

·         confirmation of the service safety with regard to environment, human life, health and property,

·         confirmation of the service quality criteria claimed by the applicant,

·         contribution to the consumer in the correct selection of services.

 Basic requirements underlying the service certification:

·         conformity of the service quality to the requirements of normative documents,

·         provision of stabile and high-quality service supply according to the requirements of normative documents.

Service certification is а key enabler in the current market relationships that ensures the service quality according to the requirements of normative documents.

Presence of the certificate is a quality assurance that helps the consumers choose correct supplier.

The National Institute of Standards CJSC has been accredited as a services certification body since 1998. The last accreditation was carried out in 2009 December 28 (accreditation certificate N is AST-001.M-0003-2009, identification mark  B01) that is valid until 2010 December 28.

The standard specifying procedures of service certification is AST 5.9 “Conformity assessment system. Service certification”.

The National Institute of Standards is accredited as a certification body in a catering field certifying the following:

·         restaurants, cafes, fast-food services, snackbars and etc,

·         bars, pubs, taverns, night clubs, discotheques and etc,

·         prepared food delivering services.

The structure of the National Institute of Standards includes accredited and newly equipped testing laboratory and training centre so and you can attend the training courses held at the training centre at your desire.
