The updated web site of the Institute is aimed at informing the stakeholders and site visitors on the issues, programs, activities and taken measures in the fields of Standardization and Conformity Assessment. We tried to make more available and easy-to-use site for manufacturers, businesses, consumers, scientists, government authorities and NGOs to obtain relevant and complete information on the activities of the Institute in the fields of Standardization, Conformity Assessment, Training and Qualification of experts, as well as laboratory testing issues.

Institute's web site gives an opportunity to get acquainted with all legal acts in the fields of Standardization and Conformity Assessment, as well as technical regulations on products and services. The web site also comprise information on the Annual Standardization Program, existing National Mirror Committees and their activities, drafts of standards that are under discussion, catalogue of available standards and directions on their purchase.

The web site provides with information on legislation and procedures of Product Conformity Assessment, Quality Management and Certification of Services in the Republic of Armenia that are directed to promote trade and remove barriers.

You will find answers on many questions and get to know the last news in Standardization and Conformity Assessment fields, as well as information about the international cooperation matters and activities.

The National Institute of Standards is authorised by the legislation with the important functions and responsibilities, daily and continuously implementation of which ensure the increase of competitiveness of Armenian products, application of new technologies, compliance with technical regulation requirements, removal of trade barriers and favorable conditions for the business environment.

For addressing the mentioned issues, it is very much welcomed the stakeholders' (manufacturers, businesses, government authorities, NGOs, research institutions, testing laboratories, etc.) participation in all of the activities of the Institute.

Only with the fruitful joint collaboration, we can increase the efficiency of implementation and application of standards for the development of Armenian economy.
