The web site provides with information on legislation and procedures of Product Conformity Assessment, Quality Management and Certification of Services in the Republic of Armenia that are directed to promote trade and remove barriers.

The National Institute of Standards is authorised by the legislation with the important functions and responsibilities, daily and continuously implementation of which ensure the increase of competitiveness of Armenian products, application of new technologies, compliance with technical regulation requirements, removal of trade barriers and favorable conditions for the business environment.
For addressing the mentioned issues, it is very much welcomed the stakeholders' (manufacturers, businesses, government authorities, NGOs, research institutions, testing laboratories, etc.) participation in all of the activities of the Institute.
Only with the fruitful joint collaboration, we can increase the efficiency of implementation and application of standards for the development of Armenian economy.
