The objective of the National Institute of Standards Closed Joint Stock Company is provision for reliable information on requirements for products and services offered by physical and juridical persons, assistance for
safety for human’s life, health, property, and environmental protection.
The main tasks of the Company are:
By services offered in the field of standardization:
provision with mutual understanding between organizations producing products and offering services in the development, consideration and adoption of draft standards; provision with information on standardization
normative documents.
By services offered in the field of conformity assessment:
promotion safety for human’s life, and property and environmental protection; provision with confidence of consumers’ concerning products and services, prevention misleading them factors; promotion raising the competitiveness of home-produced goods; elimination of technical barriers to trade in home and foreign markets,
as well as creation of favorable conditions for participation in international economic, scientific and technical cooperation and international trade.
Stability of functioning of the Company is provided:
by improvement of mutual relations of all subdivisions and employees in the Company and raising the responsibility of every employee; by all-round training of employees in the field of standardization and
conformity assessment in accordance with international practice.
Ways for realization of Company’s tasks:
study of needs and expectations of customers; continual improvement the effectiveness of the quality management system; become proficient in modern methods of offering services; optimization terms of offered services; establishment of trust relations with fellow workers.
Top management of the organization takes responsibility for realization of the quality policy and guaranties that present conception will be implemented and supported by personnel at all levels of the organization.
